Chuck Johnson is cousin and Biggest Fan of Legendary, Grammy Award Winning Guitarist, Eric Johnson.

He comes from Monroe, LA., by way of Memphis, TN.

It all started when Chuck was a small boy in Monroe, LA. When he asked about a guitar on his Grandfather’s wall. His Dad got it down and placed it in Chuck’s hands and his future in music was decided.

His Mom also had a part in Chuck’s Love for Music. She would set him down at the piano and teach him to Sing the songs of Andy Williams, Tony Bennett, Elvis, and others of her favorites.

Chuck was in secular music for some time, where he opened for such artists’ as Tim McGraw, The Doobie Brothers, Styx, Huey Lewis and the News, and others. He also worked with Anita Bryant, Joey Riley, and Ronnie Page (formerly of The Oak Ridge Boys, and The Chuck Wagon Gang).

Chuck won top 10, Lead Guitarist, Nation wide, 2 years running, at Buddy Guys Theatre in Chicago, IL, and BB Kings Blues Club in Memphis, TN. He received his award from Jimi Hendrix’s Father.

Chuck has also shared the stage with such notables as, The Platters, Norma Jean, Gary S. Paxton, The Comets, LeRoy New, Clay Cooper, The Brett Family, Randy Plummer, Glenn and Sue Phillips, Shorty Robbins, The Cerces, Perser Melody, and others in the Branson, Missouri area.

Also, Chuck had the honor of having Rhonda Vincent (Queen of Bluegrass) to play Upright Bass and Sing with him on stage at The 2007 Sally Mountain Bluegrass Festival, in Queen City, MO., with his wife, sister in-law, and also cousin Joe Reeves, formerly of The Circuit Riders Bluegrass Band.

Chuck has also had the honor of performing and being MC for such Functions as: Branson Landing Salvation Army Benefit, Downtown Branson Main Street Association, Plum Nellie Days, Autumn Daze, Grape Festival, Treasure Lake Resort, etc.

He was a Radio Announcer and holds a Lifetime FCC Operator Permit and for a time worked as Switchboard Operator at Patrick AirForce Base FL.

Chuck answered the call to go all Christian with

everything, including his music, a few years ago. He worked as a Music Minister in Florida, then was compelled to come to Branson, Missouri, where he now calls home.

He moved to the Branson area to help his Mother

(he was her Guardian) who had a severe case of Alzheimer’s. She is now in Heaven and at peace.

Chuck was a 2006 and 2007 Male Vocalist Finalist In the

Branson Gospel Singer Songwriter Association. He is also a member of the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA).

Chuck continues to pursue his career in Christian Music, as a Singer/Songwriter/ Recording Artist and Producer, in Audio and Video, and Ministers in Christian and Patriotic Music and Song, in a variety of Musical Styles, at: Churches, Resorts, Benefits, Nursing Homes, Theaters, Festivals, Concerts, and Special Occasions, in his Christian Music Ministry. Chuck is a Blessing to all he meets.
